So\, feeling our way out of it using Movement\, Mindfulness\, Breathwork\, and our body’s language\, can be helpful. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Deepen Your Practice\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Vagus Nerve Stimulation Techniques\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				When we are triggered and in fight or flight\, stimulating the vagus nerve is a great way to reset and help us re-centre and re-balance\, reducing anxiety\, stress\, anger and creating peace back in the body. \nThe vagus nerve acts to counterbalance the fight or flight system and can trigger a relaxation response in our body. It is one of the cranial nerves that connect the brain to the body. When this nerve is activated our physiological response is to reset; reset our heart rate\, breathing rate\, and blood pressure and as a result\, we may reduce feelings of anxiety\, anger\, and stress\, and in turn\, this may have a positive effect on our mind\, mood\, digestion and immune response. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Mindfulness and Movement\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				We will use the bodywork to release any trapped energy that might be stored in the body by powerful emotions experienced from trauma or everyday emotions like anger\, fear or anxiety. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Somatics\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Somatics enhances human function and body-mind integration through movement awareness. We move because it feels good rather than goal orientation and this allows us to get to know our own body on a deeper level. It can also mean stepping away from the busyness of day-to-day life slowing down\, relaxing\, and unwinding. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				We would love to come to a retreat but we are not sure we want to participate in all that is on offer\, is this ok?\n				Absolutely\, of course\, we would love you to join us throughout the whole programme but we understand that the whole programme is so varied that all activities may not interest everyone. Bring your partner\, even if he/she doesn’t enjoy yoga or walking or fancies a natural spa\, as we have so much more on the programme that we will be sure to cater for every person at some point. We also understand that sometimes you just need time to reflect\, rest or assimilate – feel free and rejoin us when you are ready. \n			\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				What is your cancellation policy?\n				 At the time of booking\, if it is 10 weeks before the arrival date\, then you pay a deposit of 25% of the total price. No refunds after this time.  \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				I have special dietary requirements\, will this be catered for?\n				Yes\, of course\, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can cater for you and your needs. All well-being retreats are vegetarian unless stated\, the reason for this is because\, in yoga philosophy\, one of the 8 limbs of yoga is Ahimsa\, which means love and non-harming to all beings including animals. So in the spirit of yoga\, we will only provide vegetarian food\, and we ask all attendees to honour this while on retreat.
