Run by myself, Claire from Dharmabelle and Tom
Dharmabelle invites you to our “Heart and Soul” Retreat, run by Claire and Tom. Claire is the Founder of Dharmabelle and has a wealth of experience from running small Circles to large weekend festivals. She is also a yoga, meditation and breathwork teacher who runs regular classes, workshops, and Circles in Colchester, Essex. She is a passionate healer and energy worker using nature and the elements as her guide.
Tom will be providing you with your delicious home-cooked, vegetarian food and snacks over the weekend. He is a passionate cook with many years of experience as a chef in an array of different types of restaurants. He is a keen swimmer and squash player, who appreciates the importance of self-care, so he often finds himself on a yoga mat also.
In our busy lives, we sometimes need a dedicated time-out to stop, reflect and reconnect with our senses and nature. So, come and experience a few days with us in the stunning Wye Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty, where you can escape the bustle of modern-day life, and reconnect with your mind, body, and spirit with some wonderful Self-care in nature.
We are creating a weekend of love, laughter, nature, good food, and connection with other like-minded souls.
Our retreats are filled with lots of active rest, restoration, healing, love, and nature, for example – runs or walks, active and restorative yoga, forest bathing, eco-spa, a cacao ceremony, fire circle, nutritional Vegetarian food, reiki and free time for you to recharge and assimilate.
In this beautiful setting, you will surely feel a sense of tranquillity, energising yourself through the natural elements of air, earth, fire, water and space.
Give yourself the treat you deserve!
We provide yoga classes to suit all bodies, Claire from Dharmabelle is passionate about Somatic movement and how a deeper relationship with one’s own body holds the possibility to help us heal and restore from a stressful week or from deep-held trauma. The classes will range from flow to restorative, so everyone can find a class that suits them. We want you to find ease in our yoga space.
We welcome all levels of experience to join us on this beautiful rejuvenating weekend retreat.
This practice breaks down your senses so you can switch off, connect with nature, and nurture your wellbeing.
We enter the forest with a trained forest guide, Tom from Hill Farm, who guides us to reconnect through mindfulness with the natural environment and focus on its amazing smells, sounds, sights, tastes, and textures which in turn brings a deeper sense of relaxation. Physical and mental health are both boosted after spending time in the forests and through the art of Shinrin Yoku, the healing properties can be over four times more powerful. Shinrin Yoku also boosts creativity and your ability to deal with stress and trauma.

By definition, it’s travel or time away from the normal ebb and flow of life to promote health and well-being through physical, psychological, or spiritual activities. It can also mean stepping away from the busyness of day-to-day life slowing down, relaxing, and unwinding.
Absolutely, of course, we would love you to join us throughout the whole programme but we understand that the whole programme is so varied that all activities may not interest everyone. Bring your partner, even if he/she doesn’t enjoy yoga or walking or fancies a natural spa, as we have so much more on the programme that we will be sure to cater for every person at some point. We also understand that sometimes you just need time to reflect, rest or assimilate – feel free and rejoin us when you are ready.
At the time of booking, if it is 10 weeks before the arrival date, then you pay a deposit of 25% of the total price. This deposit is non-refundable. We require full payment 10 weeks before the start date of the retreat, and you cancel up to 1 month before the start date for a refund minus the deposit.
Yes, of course, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can cater for you and your needs. All well-being retreats are vegetarian unless stated, the reason for this is because, in yoga philosophy, one of the 8 limbs of yoga is Ahimsa, which means love and non-harming to all beings including animals. So in the spirit of yoga, we will only provide vegetarian food, and we ask all attendees to honour this while on retreat.
